Legal & Safety pages
Our community values
We celebrate girls' rugby and the families behind it. We expect everyone to be respectful, supportive and honest, and to look out for the safety of children and young people at all times.
Be kind and respectful
- Treat everyone with respect, regardless of age, gender, sexuality, disability, race, religion or ability.
- Celebrate effort and teamwork; encourage rather than criticise.
- Respect people's privacy, especially children's.
Bullying
Bullying of any kind is not allowed. This includes repeated behaviour intended to intimidate, hurt, exclude or humiliate someone — whether through messages, comments, posts or coordinated ganging-up. If you experience or see bullying, please report it.
Harassment
Unwanted, persistent or threatening attention is harassment. This includes sending repeated messages after being asked to stop, following someone's activity across the platform, or pressuring another user. It is never acceptable.
Discrimination
We do not tolerate racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, ageism, religious discrimination or any other form of prejudice. Slurs, stereotypes and exclusion based on identity have no place in our community.
Inappropriate content
Do not post content that is sexual, violent, hateful, threatening, self-harm promoting, or that exploits or endangers children. This includes images, videos, text, links and messages. Content showing or sexualising children will be removed immediately and reported to the authorities.
Unwanted contact
Do not contact someone who has not agreed to hear from you, and never seek private contact with a child outside the platform's intended features. Adults must not arrange private, one-to-one contact with children through RugbyDiva.
Impersonation
Do not pretend to be another person, club or organisation, or claim qualifications, roles or affiliations you do not have. Club managers must be authorised to represent their club.
Abusive behaviour
Abuse — whether verbal, emotional, controlling or threatening — is not tolerated. This applies to messages, posts, reports and any other interaction on RugbyDiva.
Protecting children
Children's safety comes first. Never share a child's personal details, and only upload photos or videos with appropriate consent. See our Child Safeguarding policy and Photo & Video Policy.
Reporting
If you see something that breaks these guidelines, please use our Report a Concern form. You can report bullying, harassment, inappropriate content, unwanted contact, impersonation or anything else that worries you.
What happens if guidelines are broken
- We may remove content, send a warning, restrict features, suspend or close an account.
- For serious or repeated breaches — especially any involving children — we will remove the user and, where appropriate, report to the authorities.
- We act proportionately and aim to be fair, but protecting children takes priority.
