Who RugbyDiva is
RugbyDiva is a community and club networking platform for girls' rugby, connecting families, players, club managers and coaches. RugbyDiva is the trading name of [TO BE COMPLETED — legal entity name], a company registered in England and Wales / Scotland / Northern Ireland (delete as applicable) under company number [TO BE COMPLETED], with its registered office at [TO BE COMPLETED].
Throughout these terms, "RugbyDiva", "we", "us" and "our" refer to that entity. "You" refers to any person using the platform.
Eligibility
RugbyDiva is designed to be accessed by children and adults. Children (anyone under 18) may only use the platform through a parent or guardian account, or as part of a club managed by a verified club manager.
Some features — including Preloved selling and payments — are restricted to adults aged 18 and over. Age is verified using your date of birth.
Account registration
You must provide accurate information when registering, including a valid email address and, where required, your date of birth. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity on your account.
We may suspend or close accounts where information is false, where an account is misused, or where required to protect the community, especially children.
Parent and guardian accounts
Parents and guardians create accounts to manage their child's participation. A parent or guardian is responsible for the accuracy of their child's information and for consent decisions such as photos and media.
Parents are not expected to supervise every interaction, but we provide controls to manage privacy, media consent and who can contact a child's profile.
Adult players
Adults may register as players in their own right. Adult players can manage their own profile, join teams and use Preloved independently, subject to age verification.
Club managers
Club managers are responsible for the accuracy of club information, team details and events they publish. Manager accounts are verified by RugbyDiva before they can manage a club. Managers must act in line with the Club Manager & Coach Terms and our safeguarding policy.
Coaches and staff
Club staff and coaches are added by a verified club manager. Staff access to team and player information is limited to what is needed for their role and is governed by the Club Manager & Coach Terms.
Account security
Keep your login details private. Tell us promptly if you think your account has been accessed without permission. We will never ask for your password by email or message.
Acceptable use
You must not use RugbyDiva to bully, harass, threaten or groom anyone; to share sexual content involving minors; to contact a child inappropriately; to share private information about others; to impersonate someone else; to run scams or fraudulent listings; or to post unlawful or harmful content. Club and event functionality
Clubs, teams, age groups, events and festivals are managed by verified users. RugbyDiva is not the organiser of third-party events and is not responsible for their conduct, safety or outcomes. Always follow your club's safeguarding and event procedures.
Messaging
Direct messaging is available between connected users. Messages between adults and children are restricted and monitored as described in our safeguarding policy. We may review messages where a safeguarding concern is reported.
Girls' Zone, achievements, RugbyDiva Passport and Moments
Girls' Zone is an engagement hub for players. Achievements and badges can be awarded automatically or by a coach. The RugbyDiva Passport records a player's rugby journey. Moments are shared team photos and memories.
Where any of these involve a child's image or personal information, they are subject to parental media consent and our Photo & Video Consent policy.
Shop
The RugbyDiva Shop sells official merchandise. Shop purchases are governed by our Shop Terms and Refund Policy. Payments are processed by Stripe; RugbyDiva does not store your card details.
Preloved
Preloved is a peer-to-peer marketplace for second-hand rugby kit. Sellers must be adults (18+) with completed Stripe Connect onboarding. Preloved is governed by the Preloved Marketplace Terms and Preloved Seller Terms.
RugbyDiva acts as platform provider and is not a party to the sale between buyer and seller, except in respect of the commission it charges.
Advertising and sponsorship
RugbyDiva may show advertising and sponsored content, clearly labelled. Our approach is set out in the Advertising & Sponsorship Policy. We do not sell children's personal data and do not behaviourally target children based on their private data.
Intellectual property
RugbyDiva, the RugbyDiva logo and platform content are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify or redistribute our branding or platform content without permission.
User content
You retain ownership of content you post. By posting it you grant RugbyDiva a non-exclusive licence to use, display and moderate it on the platform. You must have the rights to post content, including consent for any images of children.
Suspension and termination
We can suspend or terminate access where these terms are broken, where the law requires it, or to protect users — particularly children. You can close your account at any time; some data may be retained as set out in our Data Retention policy.
Reporting
Anyone can report a concern through our Report a Safety Concern page. We take safeguarding reports seriously and act on them as described in our safeguarding policy.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, RugbyDiva is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the platform. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything we cannot exclude by law.
RugbyDiva is not a coach, medical provider or safeguarding authority, and does not provide legal, medical, coaching or professional advice.
Third-party services
We use third parties such as Stripe for payments and analytics providers. Their terms and privacy policies apply to their services. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be highlighted and, where appropriate, you will be asked to accept the updated terms before continuing. The version and effective date are shown at the top of this page.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales / Scotland / Northern Ireland (delete as applicable). Courts in that part of the UK have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes.
