Information you give us
- Account details — your name, email address and a password.
- Profile details — for parents and guardians, your town/city and your child's age group; for players, your date of birth (so we can confirm the correct age group); for club managers, your club and role.
- Player profiles you create for your children — first name, date of birth, age group, preferred position and whether you are looking for a club.
- Content you post — listings, messages, team memories (photos), reports and enquiries.
- Parent/guardian approval details for under-18 players — name, relationship, phone and email.
Information collected automatically
We use cookies and similar technologies (see our Cookie Policy). We may also collect limited technical information such as device type and approximate location to help us provide and improve the service.
How we use your information
- To create and manage your account.
- To help you find clubs, teams and festivals and to connect you with club managers for the purpose of joining a team.
- To send you service notifications (for example, team join requests, messages and event reminders).
- To keep the platform safe, moderate content and investigate reports.
- To respond to your enquiries and, where you have asked us to, send marketing updates.
Children's data
RugbyDiva is designed for girls' rugby and is used by children and young people. A child under 18 cannot create an account on their own — a parent or guardian must complete and approve their account and any player profile created for them. We do not display children's personal details (such as date of birth or contact details) in public club searches or public profiles. Children's data is only visible to the parent or guardian who created the profile and to authorised club managers and coaches for the team the child joins.
Sharing your information
We do not sell your data. We share information only:
- With club managers and coaches you choose to connect with (for example, when you request to join a team).
- With service providers who help us run the platform (such as hosting, email and payments), under appropriate contractual protections.
- Where we are required to by law, or to protect the safety of a child or other person.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have rights including access to your data, correction, deletion and objection to certain processing. You can exercise these by contacting hello@rugbydiva.com. We will respond within one month.
How long we keep data
We keep your information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards where we are required to by law (for example, safeguarding records).
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, but no system is completely secure. If a breach occurs that affects you, we will tell you where we are legally required to.
